I have used Pandora for a while and like the idea that I can have list of songs all in one place to suit whatever mood I happen to be in on any given day.

Funny Photos

I like using photos and making them look all wacky - Lots of fun - Wish I could do it full time.

Applications

I really like Google calendar and documents. I would like to see the library move to this type of software that would be compatible with everything like other open source software like Open Office. It would keep the costs down and would work with all systems instead of only Microsoft.

Bookmarking

I think this is really neat. I have never used delicious before but I have used mybookmarks.com for many years. I like mybookmark because I can mark some things personal and you need a password to get into the site. I like the tagging a lot helps keep things nice and neat and easy to find. I can see a use personally and professionally.

Facebooking

Facebook is lots of fun to use personally. I don't see how networking on Facebook at work would be all that beneficial to work productivity unless that is part of your job. I can see how a library and school could use the site in a promotional way, but not so much for the business user.

Game On

Children have always learned by playing games; so do adults. I'm not sure system wide that we would have any games that would be considered in work context. On a personal note I still play games that increase my brain power. It is sometimes just good for the mind to escape the everyday.

Wikis

I found this information to be useful to both work and personal applications. It can be as easy or as complex as you need it to be which is nice.

It reminds me of summer. I feel this has a lot of uses both personal and work related.

Podcasting

I think podcasting is teriffic and use it on my ipod and itunes regularly. I can see some instances where it could be used for work.

Twit & Tweet

Used Twitter for the first time today - I don't know how often I will use it - It might be helpful at work for sending quick fixes to people - We have text messaging that is currently used - The jury is still out on this one

RSS Feed Use

Today I learned about RSS feeds - I can see a real use for this in my job - I sometimes look to professional sites for troubleshooting - Many of these sites are blogs with problems and fixes from all over the world - I can add my favorites to this feed and spend less time noodling around

Week 2 Blog Post Title

The training this week was very informative. I learned that you can reach many people using blogging. I believe it has a place in the library system not only amongst different departments but also as a way to communicate ideas with patrons quickly. I only wish there was more time during work hours to explore these exciting training ideas.
